With our local ADDY ceremony coming in March (look for an announcement soon), we invite you to come see what it takes to get to the top as the AFGA presents the 2007 National ADDY Reel of Winners - an exciting presentation of all the 2007 ADDY entries that won at the National ADDY level. The reel includes examples of print, broadcast, interactive and more from all over the country... The very best of the best.

    Conducted annually by The Advertising Federation of Greater Akron, this intense competition honors creative excellence and cultivates the highest creative standards in the advertising industry. Don’t wait.

  • Holiday Networking Event and Silent Auction

    The Akron Canton American Marketing Association is pleased to present the premiere networking event of 2007. Come and meet sales, marketing and advertising professionals from all over Northeast Ohio on Tuesday, December 4th at the Akron/Canton AMA Holiday Networking Event and Silent Auction.

    Members from the AMA, Canton Ad Club, Akron Ad Club and Sales& Marketing Executives International of Akron will toast the season and share in the year’s triumphs. Enjoy delicious hors d'oeuvres and get started on your holiday shopping at the silent auction.

    The full-color brochure, Why Print? The Top Ten Ways Print Helps You Prosper, marks the launch of an ongoing series of Print Council activities designed to make a major impact on media decision makers and elevate their awareness of and appreciation for print.

    Mary Lou Cassidy, Commercial Print Sales Manager for NewPage, is an industry leader with more than 25 years of Paper Industry sales experience. In her role as mill representative, she has worked with leading printers, graphic designers, advertising professionals and paper merchants in the US and Canada. Experienced in coated papers and premium writing, text & cover, Mary Lou’s expertise is in assisting with the specification, sales and troubleshooting aspects of the paper industry.

    Mary Lou has been recognized both by her employers and by her customers as valued account manager and supplier – most recently she was chosen as the xpedx Cleveland Supplier of the Year as well as a 2006 NewPage Summit Club award recipient.

    A Cleveland native, Mary Lou resides in Shaker Heights, Ohio with her husband Mickey, her dog, Satzie and her cats Miro and Calvin.
